Patch your mail gateway today, ahead of everything else on the list.
The Hacker News reports two flaws in Barracuda's Email Security Gateway, an email-filtering appliance, that chain into running commands as root with no login required. Patches shipped Monday. RS Web Solutions points to a WordPress Core flaw sitting on CISA's critical vulnerabilities list. BigGo Finance reports that Bic Camera Group says data on about 14.9 million customer email addresses may have leaked after unauthorized access at its contractor Arara.
The same pattern runs through all three. The appliance, the CMS and the contractor standing in front of your accounts hold more trust than the app behind them, so an unpatched window turns into a credential-reset event for every account whose mail passed through it. We review account and payment flows for exactly this question. A focused review takes days, not months, and we come back with cost and timeline within a day if you tell us what sits in front of your logins.
