A candidate once spent most of the interview asking us questions: who gets paged when a payment retry loops, who owns a migration if they're out that week. We had just passed on people who answered everything cleanly and asked nothing back.
Now we read the questions as closely as the answers. Asking about handover is probably the cheapest signal that someone has actually run something in production, and a candidate's questions tell you plenty.
