Startups worry about building the wrong feature, and that is the cheaper mistake. Writing the wrong record is the expensive one. A feature you regret costs you the week it took to build, and then you delete it. A data shape you regret costs you everything already saved in it, because you cannot go back and re-derive history you never stored in the first place. So we move fast on screens and slow on anything that records money, identity, or who agreed to what. Those are the parts you pay for twice. Probably worth working out which record in your product would be the scariest to change six months from now.
